He offers a maintenance plan which evaluated our entire plumbing system within our home, including descaling our water heater and fiber optically scoped our sewage lines making sure no blockages or narrowing were there.
JJ is extremely personable. He gave us excellent options for our toilet choices. He spent the extra time to protect our home when completing his tasks and cleaned up as if he was never there. As for the scoping, he showed me how our lines looked on the monitor.

This is the second time we have used JJ Donaldson of Merit Plumbing. He returned our call immediately and got us scheduled for the next day. We called us again because the last time he came out he fixed a leaky toilet and we’ve never had a problem since. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He goes above and beyond what we expect out of a plumber by explaining to us (in layman’s terms) what the problem is and the best way to go about fixing it. There were some defects with parts in our sinks that are under warranty, and JJ was able to communicate directly with the manufacturer to have replacements sent. I recommend him without hesitation.

I called Merit Plumbing because of drain issues in the kitchen (garbage disposal) and also in the bathroom vanity drain.
The service was excellent. JJ came and did a service evaluation and explained what needed to be done. He had to use a snake to unclog the kitchen drain as it was heavily clogged. He spent quite a bit of time on it which I appreciated. He also made some suggestions for maintenance in the future. He is very well qualified and thorough. I would highly recommend Merit.
